Sustainable management refers to the governance, strategies, and practices that enable organizations, institutions, and communities to pursue long-term development while safeguarding environmental integrity, social wellbeing, and ethical responsibility. SMR welcomes sustainability-focused studies in the humanities and social sciences, spanning economics and management, culture, and education, and also welcomes sustainability research in traditional STEM fields, spanning biology, chemistry, environmental studies, materials science, and water resources management.
